Staff

The West Plainfield Fire District and Fire Department is a combination of volunteers and career staff. Collectively we are dedicated to providing the district, its residents, businesses and visitors with rapid response and the highest quality, professional services.

Command Staff

Leading the department's 28 staff members—comprised of 6 career, 5 part-time relief, 7 volunteer, and 10 reserve personnel is the responsibility of Fire Chief David Stiles, Assistant Chief Marc Beoshanz, and Battalion Chief Patrick Fish. This leadership team also directs all training operations and maintains the single fire station and its 8 fire apparatus.

Career Staff

With the July 19, 2023 passing of our Fire Protection & Emergency Services Ballot Measure, the West Plainfield Fire Protection Distrcit was able to recruit and hire 3 additional permanent personnel to bring our daily minimum staffing to 2 Fire Suppression/EMT's per day.
